Jeff Riddle and Jim Nigbor comine for the win/save striking out 14 and only giving up 3 hits. Jim Nigbor was also 2 for 2 from the plate. New London defeats Rosholt 9-3 in their home opener. Kyle Prey of New London triples in 2 runs as part of New London’s 4 run 7^th. Eric Rasmussen pitched a complete game for NL while Aaron Dobbe took the loss for Rosholt pitching 6 innings. In Plover Lanark forces the 10-run rule after 7 innings winning 13-1, Mike Sentowski picks up the win for Lanark while Jason Jones takes the loss. Dake, Gendusa, Krusiak and Hetzel each had 2 hits for Lanark. Friday Night: WeyMont’s home opener results in a 5-0 shutout of Manawa. Eric Hart pitched 6 innings only giving up a hit.
