Jason Wanty hits 2-run walk-off home run in bottom of 10^th

The previous 3 semi final games against Clintonville failed Waupaca, but Sunday’s late inning heroics by Jason Wanty gets the Lakemen a ticket to the Grand Championship of the BABA.

Home runs by Austin, Yeska, and Koronkiewicz assisted in the Win.

After a 3-run first inning by Clintonville (3-run homer run by Clintonville pitcher Jim Nighbor), the Lakemen battled back in the 2^nd with a 3-run home run by Wes Austin putting them ahead 4-3. After many lead changes including a sac-fly tie in the 9^th by Waupaca, Clintonville’s Dunlavy scored in the 9^th on an RBI by Nighbor. After a lead off HR by Clintonville in the 10^th, Waupaca’s Mike Koronkiewicz reached on a walk and 2 batters later Jason Wanty hit the Home Run of his life, a walk off 2 run blast.
