Division Championship 8/23

John Jasenovsky breaks the tie again with another home run in the 8^th inning to help Plover win the Division Championship against Waupaca 5-1.

Chris Simonson pitched 7 innings giving up only 2 hits and striking out 5 lakemen. Kyle Tkachuk added 2 hits and 2 RBIs for Plover.

Jason Wanty scored Waupaca’s only run in the 6^th inning on an error by Plover’s 3^rd baseman.

Jason Jones finished the game pitching a perfect 8^th and 9^th inning striking out 3.

Plover will host the winner of Marion vs Gresham in the East division Sunday, August 30^th
