The Grand Championship Awaits

It’s been many years since Dean Nelson has been to the Grand Championship

Dave Peterson stated it best: “To win this Championship game we need strong pitching and defense”. The last time the Waupaca Lakemen were in the Grand Championship game was 1994 when they defeated Birnamwood. Waupaca will again be playing with metal bats. There first game using these tools was a success as they hit the ball hard including 4 home runs to beat Clintonville in 10 innings 10-9.

Zac Peterson will square off against the Loggers’ Dusty Reid. Reid was the winning pitcher in last year’s Grand Championship game when they handily defeated Clintonville.
