First round Playoffs

WeyMont had the champs on the ropes up 3-2 in the 8^th when David Yeska tied it with an RBI single. In the 11^th inning WeyMont’s attempt to intentional walk with a runner on third failed.. a pass ball allowed the winning run to score and Waupaca winning 4-3. Waupaca only had 4 hits, Zac Peterson pitched all 11 innings for Waupaca and earned a win. Daniel Gorchals was the only player with multiple hits in the game.

Scandinavia lost in New London 3-1. Scandy scored when NL’s pitcher Zac Dunbar balked with bases loaded. Matt Bruette’s 2 RBI single in the 4^th inning proved to be the game winner. Jack Marx, after hitting .406 on the season went 2 for 4 while Gary Herzfeldt, Nate Krake, and Lance poppy had 2 hits for New London. RJ Rosenthal took the loss on the mound pitching 8 innings while Zac Dunbar pitched 7 innings and got the win, Andy Brooker (0.59 season ERA) pitched a 2 inning save.
