Jason Berrens is on FIRE

Scandinavia goes to 3-0 after defeating New London 3-1 Sunday, RJ Rosenthal gets his 3^rd win and Jason Berrens hits a HR and drives in 3 (Berrens in 2009 – 7 for 12, 3 2B, HR and 6 RBIs). Jack Marx was 2 for 5 with a double for Scandy.

Waupaca stays undefeated

Waupaca led 2-1 and added 5 late runs to beat Weymont 7-1. Josh Peterson had 2 hits and Zac Peterson pitched a complete game giving up only 4 hits.

Manawa falls to 0-3

Rosholt’s Scott Bembenek scored on a pass ball in the 12^th inning to beat Manawa 8-7, Manawa’s Lance Krueger was 3 for 7 including 2 doubles and 5 RBIs, Rosholt’s Ryan Richter went 3 for 5, including 3 RBIs and a double.

Plover improves to 2-1

John Jasenovsky hits his 1^st HR of the season to back Jason Jones’ pitching and beats Lanark 6-4. Brian Brom and Chris Simonson both had 2 hits for Plover.
