Waupaca shuts out rosholt

Waupaca improved to 5-1 Sunday with a 6-0 win against Rosholt, Zac Peterson threw a 4 hitter. David Yeska went 2 for 2 from the plate for the Lakemen.

Lanark picks up their first win

After the New London Merchants scored 3 in the first two innings the Lanark Lions tied the game in the 6^th and eventually took a 5-3 lead. The Merchants scored a run in the 9^th but the game ended with Nate Krake flying out to center with 2 runners on.

Manawa defeats scandinavia 8-6

Jeremy Dunnihoo picked up the win Friday night as Manawa improves their record to 3-3 while Scandy drops to 1-4. Jason Steinbach and Adam Quinn had two hits each for Manawa. Scandy’s Jesse Dickert went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs.

Rosholt 3 @ New London 9 (played at Ellison park in Scandy). Make up game from May 11.

Eric Rasmussen pitched a complete game striking out 10 hitters. The Merchants’ scored 4 runs in the first inning. Rosholt’s Shane Higgins went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.

New London’s Andy Brooker (pictured) had 4 hits and Nate Krake had 3 hits Friday night.
