Week 8 BABA South Central

Friday Night:

Aaron Dobbe shutout the Manawa Spurs giving up only 4 hits. Adam Quinn of Manawa collected 2 of those hits. Brad Zdroik went 2 for 4 with an RBI in the 3-0 win.

Plover stays perfect with a 5-2 win at Lanark. Jason Jones rentered the game after Matt Simonson was ejected, Jones then picked up the win on the mound and now has a 0.74 ERA. Lanark’s Bill Oswald was 2 for 3, John Jasenovsky and Shane Standifer continue their hot hitting getting 2 hits each.

Scandy downs Wey-Mont 4-1. Jason Berrens doubled in the first inning scoring 2 runs and later scoring himself on a pass ball. Matt Mehne pitched a complete game for Scandy.

Waupaca gets by New London 4-2 behing the pitching and hitting of Jeff Riddle (6.2 IP, 2 ER, 2x3, R). Andy Brooker pitched 8 innings on the mound and went 2 for 3 for New London.
