Friday Night:

Plover takes their first loss of the season losing to Manawa 10-3. Manawa scored 7 runs in the first two innings off Matt Simonson. Jason Steinbach of Manawa went 2 for 4 with a double, RBI, and 2 runs scored.

Home runs by Jason Berrens and Andy Garr weren’t enough as Waupaca beats Scandy 4-3. Waupaca scored the winning run in the 8^th inning when Braden Kaminske singled, stole second, and was knocked in by Wes Austin.

Rosholt improves to 3-5 with a 8-2 win over Wey-Mont. Wey-Mont’s Jordan Baitinger pitched 6 innings giving up 2 earned runs and hit a home run. Rosholt’s Jason Zinda homered, Rosholt’s Ryan Zdroik had a home run and 4 RBIs.

Lanark’s Eric Gendusa hit 3 doubles in the 6-1 win over New London. Bill Oswald of Lanark went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs. New London’s Jim Thorpe was also 2 for 4.
